Advanced Band

Building upon the foundational skills developed in Beginning Band, the Advanced Band class is designed for 7th and 8th grade students who are committed to advancing their musical abilities and ensemble performance skills. Students will continue to grow as musicians, expanding their technical proficiency, musical interpretation, and collaborative performance capabilities. Advanced Band is more than a class—it's a journey of musical discovery, personal growth, and collaborative artistry. Students are expected to bring passion, dedication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

1. Successful completion of one full year of Beginning Band

3. Willingness to challenge oneself and continue musical growth

• All-District Honors Band

• North Carolina All State Honors Band
