The Fine Arts Team welcomes Mrs. Leonard to Githens and our team!! We're excited to be revitalizing the Theater Program here at Githens for the 2026/27 school year. 

Mrs. Leonard fell in love with stage performance watching a high school production of The Music Man when she was a child. Since then, she has been in so many shows that she has lost count. 

She has been teaching math, science, or technology since 2009 and running after school drama clubs at two other middle schools. She is thrilled to be able to dedicate all of her time to theater. 

When she isn't in the classroom, you can find Mrs. Leonard doing theater for several local commuity theaters as a costumer, light and sound designer, or a backstage parent for a very theactrical 5 year old.
