A Passion Project is an activity or enterprise that you decide to take on—usually in your spare time–in order to gain some benefit for yourself. Passion Projects are at their core the creative side projects that are inspired by your deeper meaning, your mission, your desire for a better way and ideally, they have a real world result. Passion Project brings classrooms together by encouraging each other to pursue their passions.
Grade III students were given the topic ‘Adjectives’ and were asked to present it in any form like a rap song, a PPT, a collage or by writing a paragraph. In this activity students were engaged in self-reflection of the learning process. This helped students develop their self evaluation and presentation skills. They mastered working on Google Slides, Quizizz and Jamboard.
Learning and learning outcomes are more meaningful to students when we engage their passions, unleash their creativity, and give them time and tools for innovation. Learning tends to become easier when we actually want to do something we are interested in doing. And when students are able to pursue an interest or passion, rather than feeling like all their learning paths are prescribed.

A student-led conference is led by the students. The role of the classroom teacher is that of a facilitator.
Students of Grade V participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The SLC helps them accept responsibility for their learning. Students organized this conference and presented wonderful stories from the Read & Grow program in the form of Poems, Rap songs, plays and drama. They mastered working on Google Slides, Story Jumper, Comic Strip at such a tender age and with great finesse. Students were divided into groups of five members each. Learners led the session, giving both students and teachers insight into their work and their areas of struggle. The students came up with innovative ways of expressions. The SLC was the perfect platform to do all that.
SLCs motivate students to engage in self-reflection of the learning process
Student Led conference is an activity based learning experience by students themselves. They work in groups to collaborate among their team members representing alliance, team efforts and communication. Students work together through idea sharing and thinking to achieve a common goal. Students of grade V were given some interesting topics like importance of forests, Facts about ants, Scared grooves, different types of houses in the world and many more. Children used online tools to present their creative work. Based on their presentations, each child was asked questions about their topic.
On the platform of SLC, children could develop skills of actively listening to others, taking responsibility for their mistakes, and respecting the diversity of their team members.

SLC- II gave an opportunity to the students to explore the miraculous world of books. They presented the stories from the Read and Grow Books. The students had complete autonomy- from choosing the story to the way they wanted to present it. This gave them a sense of freedom and responsibility and honed their decision- making skills. The overall presentation and team collaboration was commendable. The students were very confident and their mastery in using technology such as Google Slides, Storyjumper, etc. was quite evident. The SLC had helped the students in not only developing their critical thinking skills but also the creative thinking skills and had brought the magical world at their fingertips.
विषय – कथालेखन
उद्देश – कथालेखन आकर्षक व परिणामकारक करता येणे .
विस्तार – इयत्ता ६वी च्या विद्यार्थ्यांना SLC च्या माध्यमातून ‘कथालेखन’ हा
विषय देण्यात आला.विद्यार्थ्यांनी यात कथेचे प्रकार , ती कशी लिहावी याचे सविस्तर वर्णन केले. मुद्द्यांवरून कथालेखन करताना ते लक्षपूर्वक वाचून , सुटसुटीत भाषेत संवादासोबत सादर केली. कथेची सुरुवात आकर्षक करून शेवट परिणामकारक केला व कथेचे तात्पर्य देखील सांगितले.

The students of Grade VII got an opportunity to self- learn some of the topics from their Social Science books. This highly boosted their self- confidence. The onus of learning was totally on the students. The students invested in their own learning and thus developed a growth mindset. The SLC helped promote a school culture of engagement and growth and let the students play an active role in planning their own learning. The teacher acted as a facilitator and let the students be the in charge of leading the presentations.
The topics were presented in quite innovative ways such as News Channel Interview, Street plays, Slogan writing, Banner making, Google slides, Quiz Show, Prezi Slides, etc.
SLC- II has definitely left a huge impact on the process of self- learning.
SLC गतिविधि विद्यार्थियों में विषय के प्रति गहन चिंतन, नवीनता तथा सामूहिक रूप से आपसी सहयोग द्वारा तैयार किए गए प्रस्तुतीकरण, प्रतिबद्धता का सुंदर प्रमाण (रूप) हैं |
इस गतिविधि की सहायता से छात्रों ने सिखाए गए विषयांश को रोचक और मनोरंजक ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया जो वास्तव में अकल्पनीय था | छात्रों ने विभिन्न विषयांश पर हिंदी साहित्य की विधाओं का सुंदर प्रदर्शन करने हेतु नाटक, अभिनय, विज्ञापन, साक्षात्कार , स्लोगन (नारा) स्वरचित विडियो एवं कविताएँ, चित्रों द्वारा कथा वर्णन, संवाद तथा तकनीकि शैक्षिक टूल्स की सहायता से सृजनात्मक /कलात्मक कार्य का भव्य,अद्भुत और अविस्मरणीय प्रदर्शन किया |
उद्देश्य - इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्रों में गहन अध्ययन क्षमता को बढ़ावा देने के साथ विषय के प्रति लगाव, भाषा की संरचना, भाषिक संस्कार उत्पन्न करना, विषय की जटिलता को समझने की कुशलता विकसित करना, भाषा कौशल का पारंगत, सटीक, सार्थक तरीका, साहित्य की विधाओं की पृष्ठभूमि, रचनाकार तथा कालबोध, भाषा का वैज्ञानिक विश्लेषण, साहित्य सौंदर्य, आत्मविश्वास से प्रस्तुतीकरण तथा भाषा की अभिव्यक्ति का आकर्षक रूप इत्यादि छात्रों में विकसित करना इस गतिविधि का प्रमुख उद्देश्य था |
विषय – संवाद लेखन
उद्देश – विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये संवाद कौशल्य व संवाद लेखनाची कला अवगत करून देणे.
विस्तार – इयत्ता ७ वी च्या विद्यार्थ्यांना SLC च्या माध्यमातून वर्गात संवाद लेखनाचे सादरीकरण केले. हे करत असताना विद्यार्थ्यांनी संवाद लेखन करण्यास काय असावे आणि काय असू नये याचे नियम सांगितले. विद्यार्थ्यांनी काही संवाद लेखन केले व ते बोलूनही दाखवले. काही विद्यार्थ्यांनी स्लाईड मध्ये चित्रांचा देखील वापर करत संवाद लेखन आणखी प्रभावी करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.
SLC-Students led conference is an activity conducted in DPS lava in which students take responsibility and ownership for their learning by involving them in the goal-setting and assessment process. This time a group of students explored the topic given on 'Conservation of Plants and Animals' and 'Stars and the Solar system'.
विषय - जाहिरात प्रदर्शन
उद्देश - विद्यार्थ्यांना जाहिरात कशी तयार करावी व ती आकर्षक , प्रभावी व कलात्मक दिसावी यासाठी कोणती काळजी घ्यावी हे कळावे .
विस्तार - इयत्ता ९ वी विद्यार्थ्यांना SLC च्या माध्यमातून जाहिरात प्रदर्शन हा विषय देण्यात आला. विद्यार्थ्यांनी अतिशय सुंदर , साजेसे विषय घेऊन , लयबद्ध शब्दरचनेचा वापर करत जाहिराती तयार केल्या.जाहिरात आकर्षक वाटावी म्हणून सुभाषिते , सुवचनांचा वापर केला सोबतच चित्रांची जोड देत आणखीच प्रभावीपणे सादर करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला
SLC गतिविधि – विद्यार्थियों में रचनात्मक और सृजनात्मक कौशलों की मौखिक एवं लिखित अभिव्यक्ति के साथ भाषिक संस्कार विकसित करने तथा उनमें हिंदी भाषा के प्रति लगाव,प्रेम के भाव जागृत करने का प्रयास इस गतिविधि द्वारा किया गया है |
विद्यार्थियों ने हिंदी पाठ्यक्रम में सिखाए पाठ के मूलभाव को समझकर रोचक प्रस्तुतीकरण तैयार किया जिसमें गूगल स्लाइड के साथ नाटक, प्रसिद्द कवियों की रचनाएँ, विज्ञापन , सूचना एवं सन्देश, स्लोगन, चित्रों द्वारा कथा कथन, साक्षात्कार, व्याकरण विधा पर आधारित विषयांश की संकल्पना, सुंदर उदाहरण, कार्टून एनीमेशन इत्यादि का प्रदर्शन कर इस गतिविधि को आकर्षक बनाने का पूर्ण प्रयास किया जो वास्तव में सराहनीय था |
इस गतिविधि का उद्देश्य छात्रों में गहन अध्ययन क्षमता को बढ़ावा देना एवं उनमें रचनात्मक कुशलताओं, हिंदी भाषा के माध्यम से अपने देश, संस्कृति, परिवेश, जीवन स्तर आदि से जुड़ाव, अपनापन और अपने अनुभव का प्रदर्शन तथा औपचारिक विषयों और सन्दर्भों में बोल पाने की क्षमता को विकसित करना और कला को बढ़ावा देना था |
