Dear Parents,
Season’s Greetings to you!
“The beginning of a new year is an opportunity to look to the future,” said Ted Miller
2020 has been a challenging and unpredictable year for everyone. With the New Year just ahead, many of us are looking forward to a better 2021 and beyond. We must look ahead to 2021 with a renewed spirit. With a vaccine for Covid-19 on the horizon, people will get back to work; the economy will improve; our children will return to school, and life will begin to look somewhat familiar. Planning ahead is one of the most important steps in setting a course for the future. This New Year, we urge you to look beyond just the next 365 days. Retrospect, think of the lessons we learned, positives that happened in our lives.
Frontline workers, doctors, nurses, and other essential personnel alike worked immeasurably hard to ensure that this entire country did not collapse amongst all of the madness that characterized this year. Going forward, and thanks to everyday heroes, society as a whole is immensely more prepared for the year to come than it was on March 14, 2020.
There is simply no way to know what the year will bring, or whether it will be better or worse than before. The only way we can hope to move forward as a society is to continue to work together and support one another no matter what the coming year entails. Optimism is undoubtedly the best outlook to hold on the coming year, let’s usher in the New Year with strength, unity, and compassion for one another. Hope the festive season adds cheer to everyone’s life.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
With warm regards
