TUESDAY: Students will identify the two whole numbers a fraction or mixed number is between on a number line to help them locate measurements on a ruler.
WEDNESDAY: Students will explore different ways to estimate length by using the length of a familiar object and a measurement tool, and they compare the estimates they find using these methods.
THURSDAY: Students will use a ruler to understand how to measure length to the nearest 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch and describe how to measure length using words.
