Site Preparation Work by ISK Landscapers above:
Student Work Day 1 - May 18th: goal to place the Biofalls on gravel and level it as well as attach the liner to the face plate lip of the waterfall at the top of the stream.
Student Work Day 2 - May 22 : goal is to spread out a sand base layer in the stream channel and then put down the protective geotextile underlayment and finally the EPDM stream bed liner in overlapping sections.
Student Work Day 3 - May 24: Complete Log Bridge base (gravels and rocks) and install log bridge. Place large boulders to create waterfalls and along side walls to hide liner. Then, tuck and hide liner and underlayment edges from view with large boulders. Attach and silicone seal pump hose to Biofalls unit and bury hose in trench.

June 1 (some of the finishing touches were completed):
1. Add PU foam between the boulders to seal the waterfalls
2. Add cobbles and gravels and sand to the stream bottom
3. Install and connect the two 1.5m3 underground water tanks with a drainage system
4. Create the stream's pondless water collection system to return water to the tanks (work in progress still)
5. Cover biofalls with stone slab and boulders to hide it
6. Finally, install the pump and hope it all works as planned....
June 6 - Almost Finished! Photos below and two videos (one and two) with running water! And it works!!
Still to complete in the summer of 2023...
1. Finish the stream's pondless water collection system and cover with a leaf-catching mesh.
2. Create the drainage system to prevent excess rainwater flooding.
3. And finally, install a permanent safety fence around the black underground water storage tanks
