Paint the logs

Instructions:

Give kids paint and paintbrushes and give them a prompt of some kind and allow them to freely paint on the tops of the many log seats in the forest (see images below). This can also be done on the sides of logs or on rocks with mud made from soil and water, and this allows kids to stick leaves and other materials into the mud. These painting should not be perfect and can be whatever comes to the child's’ mind.

Materials Needed: 

• Paint brushes

• Logs (clean and dry the tops or sides first if possible in advance?)

• Natural Materials

• Soil and water

Objectives:

• Embrace children's creativity

• Learn more about painting with different materials
