Make Letters

Instructions:

Without the kids knowing what the activity is about send them out to the forest for around 5 minutes to gather any materials they find. Once the 5 minutes are over the teacher will tell the students to create letters “abc” out of these objects. 

Materials Needed:

• Have a list of letters (in random orders)

• Timer

• Paper to keep track of points

Objectives:

• Embrace creativity 

• Allow kids to learn how to work out of the blue

Age Range: 

K1 - G1 

*If you wanted to do this for older kids split them into teams and make it a competition (who makes the letters first) and make a 2-3 minute timer and if they don’t make it in time they won’t get a point
