Hunt or Find the Beasts

Instructions:

Give children fake "hunting" (or searching) gear and send them out to "kill" (or rescue) a minibeast that is raging war (or is lost) in the forest. Have them play until they successfully "kill" or "find" the beast.

Materials Needed: 

• ‘Hunting’ Gear (swords, shovels, sticks, hand lenses, etc)

• Mini Beasts (could be real and placed by the teacher or imaginary)

• You could leave a series of clues to follow in order to find the minibeast as a group

Objectives:
