Camouflage

Instructions:

Children are provided with materials to hide themselves in, and they must try to hide from the seeker using the materials in a hiding-in-plain-sight sort of way

Outline For The Lesson:

1. Beginning explaining the activity to the children.

2. Split into groups, Hiders and Seeker

3. Give hiders 3-5 minutes to hide

4. Give Seekers 5-10 minutes to find hiders

Materials Needed: 

• Leaves

• Nature materials (Sticks, Flowers)

Active learner roles (the big five)

Thinker - They have to consider how they would camouflage themselves into their surrounding materials.

Collaborator - They collaborate with their group to help them hide.

Age Range: 

G1 - G4
