What is an un-nature trail? It is an activity to help you use your powers of visual observation (sight) to find and count as many objects that are not natural within one meter distance of the trail as you walk through from the classroom area to the HS entrance in the ISK Community Forest. The teacher will need to get these items from the Environmental Education Activity Box in the Forest Classroom Area and quickly set this activity up in advance. As you walk along slowly, look up and down for anything plastic, metal, glass or any other kind of un-natural object. Look carefully, as they may be hanging in the trees or shrubs or even on the ground. Please leave the un-nature trail items where you found them for others to look for but please don't litter. How many of the following 12 items did you notice? What others did you see that are not in this photo? Afterwards, try to continue to practice and improve your powers of observation and really pay close attention when you are in the forest. Then you will be able to see all the amazing little and big NATURAL things that live here. Please, don't forget to find and put all the materials back in the box afterwards so they don't get lost.
