Scavenger Hunt

Introduction:

This activity aims to tackle the active and thinking side of children's minds, The supervisor of the lesson are provided with sheets for children to use to find objects in the forest/in nature. These will be prompts such as Find The Purple Flower. Kids will be left for a time period to try and find all the prompts.

Outline For The Lesson:

1. Beginning by explaining the activity to the class

2. Once Students understand the lesson, provide the worksheets

   1. For younger students or students who struggle to read provide worksheets with coloured pictures

3. Send Children off for 15 minutes to search

4. When a child comes back have them show you where they found everything

5. Provide a reward for whoever finishes first

Materials Needed:

• List with items for each kid

• Pencils

Objectives:

Learn names of plants/items and where it’s usually found

G1 - G5
