Independent Exploration

Introduction:

Similar to recess children will be allowed to explore their environment by themselves and with their friends, they can play, explore, etc. This can be used to get energy out of kids 

Outline For The Lesson:

1. Give the kids a breakdown of this activity

2. Allow kids to freely explore and play for 10-25 minutes similar to recess 

Materials:

• Nothing but the kids

Objectives:

• Learn how to work independently

Age Range:

 K1 - G3

*For G4-G5 kids potentially give them some sort of prompt to look for during their exploration (E.g, See how many bugs you can find)
