Research can be operated following steps:
✦ The first step normally begins with the subject that the researcher wants to know, the object of the problem, and the steps that indicate the research question and problem. Examples of research questions are such as “Who is the favorite singer for teenagers?” “Who is the favorite politician for teenagers?” “What do teenagers spend the time for? Examples of research problems are the problem of teenagers addicted to computer games and the problem of how free time is spent among teenagers.
✦ The second step in writing the research project. Before doing research, a researcher has to know the following questions:
What is the topic for the research? (Research project title)
Why do you want to do this topic? (Background and significance)
What do you want to know from this research? (Objectives of research)
How do you use steps in research and planning? (Operation calendar)
What are the advantages of the research? (Research outcomes)
✦ The third step is the step of operating the research following the plan that is indicated in the research project.
✦ The fourth step is writing a research report that consists of the following:
Title
Researcher name
Background
Objectives of the research
Research procedures
Research outcomes
Recommendation
References
✦ The final step is to publish the research to make use of the outcomes.
