Mrs Alexander - Pastoral Mentor

In a nutshell

We asked Mrs Alexander...

If you could share a meal with four famous people, living or dead, who would they be?

The Dalai Lama: discussing his "Art of Happiness" and insightful take on life. Jane Austen: the author of my favourite book Pride and Prejudice. Captain James Cook: an adventurer and explorer. To know how it was discovering new countries and islands, animal and plants. Eddie Jones: I love his no nonsense say what you're going to do positive thinking...and his sense of humour.

Do you collect anything?

I collect Buddhas, elephants, Asian items and art work.

If money was no object, what would you do all day?

I would travel extensively, take photographs and write a journal of all of the wonderful places that I would see and visit. I would also find time to paint, draw and read.

What is the best thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is that I get the opportunity to work with a caring team of people and I am able to support and help students who have a variety of problems. Two days are never the same in Pastoral...but they are always busy!
