Pupil Premium

Support for Pupil Premium Students

Pupil Premium covers a range of areas:

Your child may already be on the Pupil Premium register at their current Primary School. If this is the case, meetings will take place with your child’s teacher so that information on areas of support are shared. If your circumstances have recently changed and you now meet one of the bullet points above, please feel free to contact us on the email address below.

If your child meets any of the Pupil Premium criteria and is also on the SEND register then they will have one Passport that covers their individual needs.

All students who are looked after or post looked after will be allocated a Keyworker (in some cases the keyworker may also be their form tutor). Along with your child they will create a Pupil Passport that is shared with teaching staff. This Passport highlights your child’s areas for support as well as strengths and aspirations. It provides the teacher with an understanding of their individual personalities and is reviewed throughout the year.

Further intervention and support is available either through 1:1 or small group work, for example, literacy and numeracy or social & emotional support. If we feel this is something that would be of benefit to your child we will write to you to offer these services and/or opportunities.

We want your child to feel secure, safe and supported to achieve their full potential so are always happy to discuss any concerns you may have. Mrs Godden is our Priority Student Lead and Mrs Murphy is responsible for our Pupil Premium strategy.
