Mrs. Spahr has lived in Colorado since 2003. Originally from Philadelphia, PA she also has roots in St. Louis, MO and Atlanta, GA. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Georgia Southern University and immediately moved to Colorado to start her career in event planning.

Through her work she was able to travel to many different countries and thoroughly enjoys seeing and learning about new cultures. When her first daughter was born in 2012 she decided to stay home full time and raise her family. She and her husband of 16 years have 2 daughters that both attend Ascent Classical Academy as full time students. 

Mrs. Spahr loves kids and animals. Her family has 2 dogs, chickens, cats, a bird and 2 horses! She enjoys working in her yard, skiing, reading, and riding horses. She loves to support and encourage people and is thrilled to serve at Ascent.
