Please practice the following poems to prepare for Fine Arts Night
Literature

Characters/setting, conflict/problem, and resolution/ending can be identified in stories.

A biography is a story about a real person that lived in a real place.
Poetry
Language has rhythm, rhyme, and repetition that can be felt if read or listened to aloud.

The English language follows rules.

Find Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois on a map of the United States.
Look for Abraham Lincoln on a penny and $5 bill.
