I graduated high school in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Colorado Christian University. Over the past six years I have enjoyed teaching a variety of grade levels. I have spent the last 4 years teaching 1st grade . I taught at the full-time Ascent program for 3 years, then was a 1st grade teacher for Brave Academy. In April 2024, my husband and I welcomed our daughter Elanor to the family. This past year I had the opportunity to work at a homeschool collaborative program where I enjoyed learning more about the homeschool community. When I am not teaching, I love to go on walks with my daughter on the beautiful Colorado trails. I also enjoy singing, baking, board games, and reading.
