Sara Sefranek grew up a homeschooler in California and Colorado. She studied English at the University of Dallas, where she dove deep into the Western tradition and had the opportunity to participate in student theatrical productions and deepen her love of poetry.
She completed her Masters in English with a focus on Medieval Literature at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where she also tutored, acted as a teaching assistant, and finally taught Literature and Classical Rhetoric to undergraduate students. She left academia in 2016 in order to homeschool her own children. She has since taught enrichment classes for homeschoolers and managed the homeschool co-op at her church.
In her spare time she enjoys being alone in quiet rooms, reading long books, and showing her children how to find the warp whistles in Mario 3.
