⭐Consider identifying an AVID strategy to feature/support schoolwide each month. How can all staff be included?

⭐Establishing expectation for Site Team teachers to embed WICOR^® or AVID instructional strategies in their lesson plans to support student achievement.

⭐Develop a professional learning plan for sharing WICOR strategies and building expectations with staff members.

⭐Explore existing site/district communication tools, such as website, announcements, and newsletters, for opportunities to include AVID.

⭐Determine baseline site data that AVID is expected to impact (attendance, behavior, academics, teacher performance, etc.).

⭐Review the District Dashboard to identify trends and priorities.

⭐Calendar all AVID Center and district due dates for certification and data.

⭐Confirm MyAVID accounts for Site Team members. Assign roles in MyAVID for additional support.

⭐Recruit, hire, train, and place AVID Tutors for the AVID Elective.

⭐Use AVID Domains/Subdomains as your guide for all Site Team meetings to support the collection of certification artifacts and implementation fidelity.

⭐Identify Site Team members and establish roles for shared responsibility.

⭐Finalize Site Team meeting schedules.

⭐Plan and conduct AVID awareness and faculty professional learning.
