Course Description
CDS's Korean history class does not insist on a typical approach to teaching history. Students will learn about the history of Korea in connection with various disciplines. and In my Korean history class, I will try to help students understand Korean culture and Korean way of thinking.
In this respect, the Korean history class at CDS will be a kind of Korean studies class. In order to lead these classes successfully, I not only have experience in teaching world history and Korean history, but also studied a variety of history subjects at the graduate level. Therefore, each student's interests and academic goals will be reflected in the class as much as possible.
The classes will be basical academic and very practical, and all questions about Korea are encouraged. You are very busy 11th graders, but I hope that Korean history classes at CDS will provide you with fond memories from your school days. I hope it will be a time to learn a lot about Korea, think it, and enjoy it.
