It takes a while for Kindergarteners to learn how to log on. They have to learn about upper and lowercase letters, learn how to quickly and softly press a key, locate letters in a group of letters, use a mouse and more. Below is a video showing what our log in screen at school looks like and how our user name and passwords work. We usually work sometimes into November to master these skills. We will practice this weekly so you will see this lesson again and again until I feel my in school students are ready to move on. Our goal is to keep the remote and in school students on the same schedule so if your child is doing well with the activity, please repeat it occasionally to maintain the skills so transition to in school, if that happens this year, will be an easy one.
