Capital Letters

Please continue to work on username and password at home. The students who returned are doing extremely well so it's paying off. We are continuing to work on making uppercase letters. Making uppercase letters is difficult for several reasons. First, the students have to do different things with each hand. One is holding a key down while the other hand is pushing a key quickly and softly. It is also difficult because many students, one they learn how to make uppercase letters, attempt to capitalize everything. Just as we practiced logging on for several weeks, we usually spend two to four week on making uppercase letters. Please review slide show if necessary and type alphabet at least two times. If your child is doing well and you think we are being redundant, please be patient as the students in a classroom setting can not get as much one to one attention so it takes longer.

I would prefer your child work on making uppercase letters so that when they return to school, they have the same skillset has their f2f peers. If you feel your child is competent at typing his alphabet using upper and lowercase letters, you may work on the Specials' Assignment provided below.
