Metro's Bell Schedules

Metro School’s Building Hours are 6:45 am to 6:00 pm

Students Arrival

Doors Open at 7:30 AM

8:00 AM (Arrival Bell)

Students Dismissal

3:00 PM (First Bell - Car/Van Riders)

3:05 PM (2nd Bell - Bus Riders)

Teachers' Work Hours

7:15 AM until 3:30 PM

Teacher Assistants' Work Hours

7:20 AM until 3:15 PM

Teachers are required to remain at school some Wednesdays for faculty meetings or school professional development in-service.

Please refrain from scheduling any appointments after school on Wednesdays.

For the 2025-2026 school year: Teacher Assistants may work Teacher Workdays, identified in collaboration with the building principal. Red Rover shall be used to clock all time in and out to ensure hours are recorded for payroll. This opportunity is not guaranteed for the following school year.

Teacher Assistants are NOT required to work on Teacher Workdays (no leave options should be used as it is not a required day).

2025-2026 Early Release Days

The Employee Calendar has the CMS designated Teacher Workdays, Holidays, etc… Teachers and instructional assistants will also receive professional development during four (4) student Early Release days:

October 1, 2025

November 19, 2025

February 11, 2026

April 29, 2026

NOTE: Teacher Assistants are expected to stay and finish the school day on student Early Release days.
