CloudPCR allows you to manage your own dropdown options.
Sometimes a state will push out a new NEMSIS code without warning. Sometimes, an agency will have procedures in the dropdown that they are not allowed to perform. Sometimes your dropdown options have way more options than you need, making them hard to use.
Have you ever wanted to add a new dropdown option or remove a dropdown option?
In the Form Config found in Administration under the myPCRs page, you can click on the icon that looks like a list next to the gear icon. This will open the dropdown manager. This is an easy to navigate menu where you can add and delete dropdown options. For instance, in CMS level, you will see some options for fixed wing aircraft. Do you have a fixed wing aircraft? If not, just click on the trash can icon to get rid of it so it doesn't clutter up your drop down.
Now, I've heard that NEMSIS can be vague in some instances. If you wanted to create a more specific clinical option in your dropdown, you can select the new entry tab, pick the option from the NEMSIS list you want to clarify, and give it a new title. This is what you and the hospital will see in the PCR report, but the state will get the same NEMSIS code it needs. This is what we call dropdown aliasing.
