December - All
Up on the Housetop reindeer pause.
Out jumps good old Santa Claus.
Down through the chimney with lots of toys.
All for the little ones Christmas joys.
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go!
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go!
Up on the housetop, click, click, click
Down thought the chimney with good Saint Nick!

HO HO HO
GO!
CLICK CLICK CLICK
Pass the Christmas present
Steady as you go
All the elves are working and
Santa’s in the know
He sees you when you’re sleeping
He knows when you’re awake
So pass the parcel to your friends for goodness sake!
Candles in the window
Shadows painting the ceiling
Gazing at the fire glow
Feeling that "ginger bread" feeling
Precious moments, special people
Happy faces, I can see.
Somewhere in my memory
Christmas joys all around me
Living in my memory
All of the music, all of the magic
All of the family, home here with me.
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall, the most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph

These are young boys! Probably in about grade 3! Do you think they practiced a long time to be able to dance and do moves like that?
1. Snowball Fights (Kasie Gepford) -elementary music teachers facebook group) Put a rhythm on a card - my kinders have TA, titi, and rest- and crumple it up. The kids throw the balls at each other like a snow ball fight and they have to find their matching partner when it ends. The partners who find each other quickest get to be king and queen (or Elsa and Anna last year). One gets to start the fight one ends it.
Name that Holiday Tune
It's the classic game with a holiday twist. Play a few notes of a Christmas song, and let the children guess the name of the tune. I
Students find a partner and face each other. They decide who is going to be the leader, and who will be the follower.
Once the music starts, the leader begins to move. The follower copy the leaders movements. When I call out "switch", they change jobs.

Audience claps and dancers pass ribbons to someone close by. Make sure they are nice and spaced out during this activity!
You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's making a list,
He's checking it twice,
He's gonna find out who's naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
And he knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
