Out jumps good old Santa Claus.
Down through the chimney with lots of toys.
All for the little ones Christmas joys.
Ho, ho, ho! Who wouldn't go!

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall, the most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games
Pass the Christmas present, steady as you go
All the elves are working and Santa’s in the know
He sees you when you’re sleeping he knows when you’re awake
So pass the parcel to your friends for goodness sake!

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's making a list,
He's checking it twice,
He's gonna find out who's naughty or nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
And he knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Jack be nimble, jack be quick!
Jack jump over the candle stick!
Finger play, Diagonal pathway jumps - Feeling phrase
Add instruments - practice on body first
Review poem line by line, ask the students to show you the actions! (wrapping motion, pulling outwards, clap 3 times). They have only done this one other time. So will need a refresher. Do the poem in a speaking voice, whisper, faster, slower, silly voice, robot voice etc.
Let's try the stretchy bands!!!
