This is a great song for the youngest students. The teacher sings the words and calls students’ names. This is a great song for when you have already learned how to pronounce and you are practicing their names. It works very well as a greeting song too.

Soon a special day is coming to show our love and support for Indigenous people of Canada. Here are two awesome kids sharing about their culture through dancing and drumming. Check it out!
Speak poem, each child with a scarf to act out the poem and hide scarf in a new spot each time!
Place 4 maracas in the four corners of the room. Choose one student to be Bo Peep and one student to be a lost sheep. Perform poem or listen to song, at the end of the song the "sheep" shakes one of the maracas. Little Bo pee keeps eyes covered and points to the sound!
A music class tradition!!

I love this book and the sounds of each animal! Maybe we could add some instrument to this book to represent the animals? Wouldn't that sound interesting!?
Another song with a surprise ending! Does this song remind you of Surprise Symphony? Why?
