Learning Objective:

1. Teacher explains about the history of basketball
2. Teacher explains and shows the video about the rules and how to play the basketball
3. Students do basketball drill and various exercise. (Ask the students to take out their ball)

Learning Objectives:
Recognise whole, half and quarter turns, both clockwise and anti-clockwise.
Recognise that a right angle is a quarter turn.
Activities:
Students watch video about directions (turns) for kids.
Students learn about quarter turn clockwise and anti-clockwise and half turn clockwise and anti-clockwise.
Students cut and stick the pictures on page 3 which need to be turned a half turn clockwise and anticlockwise from their starting position (Handout: Dance directions).
