Learning objectives:

• Improve reading fluency

• Improve pronunciation of new vocabulary and past tense verbs

• Understand story (what happens to characters etc)

Activities:

1. Students read questions about what happened during last lesson's reading.

2. Students answer questions, with prompts/ clues from teacher if needed.

3. Students read pages pages 12-14, with help from teacher for new/ difficult words.

4. Teacher asks concept checking questions or gives clues for any unknown words.

5. Students answer questions about what they have read, both verbally and in writing.

Topik: Tempo musik

Tujuan Pembelajaran:

• Mengenal elemen musik melalui lagu.

• Menirukan elemen musik melalui lagu.

Kegiatan:

1. Guru mengucapkan salam kepada seluruh siswa.

2. Guru menjelaskan kembali fungsi atau manfaat tempo dalam bermain musik.

3. Guru mengajak siswa untuk dapat membedakan tempo cepat, sedang dan cepat.

4. Siswa latihan memainkan tempo musik dengan 3 jenis kecepatan yang berbeda (lambat, sedang dan cepat) dengan memukul drum kaleng.

5. Siswa memainkan tempo sambil mengiringi satu lagu yang dinyanyikan.

4. Students play interactive game about directions (Game: Deadly doors).

5. Students cut and stick the pictures on page 3 which need to be turned a quarter turn clockwise and anticlockwise from their starting position (Handout: Dance directions).

6. Students cut and stick the pictures on page 3 which need to be turned a half turn clockwise and anticlockwise from their starting position (Handout: Dance directions).
