My idea for my animal painting was to make one of my boy cats with him laying down and get it from how he was my favorite cat I ever had and I did draw a sketch of him using a picture of my life experience with him. The process was a struggle trying to get him how he's supposed to look, the tools I used were mixing colors, testing colors, and getting advice from my sister too, acrylic paint. My intention was to make an easy painting of my cat but it wasn't, my artwork doesn't really mean anything, so my audience can just think of how they think my cat was and there is no symbolic imagery in my painting. The most difficult part was making the fur that I overcame just by making an up motion with the paint brush and re-doing it, and if I did start off I wouldn't change anything. My painting is realistic and with that it's unique to me because he was my first kitten/cat and I love how his face turned out how it is supposed to look.
