My idea for my first magnet was to make a simple smile face just to get used to making circles and a hot dog shaped lip and for this magnet I did not draw a sketch just did the idea without a sketch since it was our first project. The process was smooth and easy. The tools I used were a needle tool, a spray bottle and my hands for making the circles and the hot dog shaped lip, stone wear clay. The intention for this project was to think of happiness and just to put a smile on your face and when the people see it just to think of a happy time in their life. So this project went smooth and easy like I said but I would want to make the circles better and more like a circle because it's kinda lopsided. I think this is a realistic art piece and makes it unique to my style because I like putting smiles on people, I love how the blue turned out.
My idea for my second magnet was to make a sun with flowers. I got this idea because to go with my baseline painting I made in painting #1 but I did not draw a sketch, just did the idea without a sketch since it was our first project. The process was smooth and easy. The tools I used were a needle tool, a spray bottle and my hands to make the sun and flower stem and circle but I did use a shaping tool for lines, stone wear clay. The intention for this project was just to look at some flowers plus the sun and when the people see it just to think of their favorite flower. So this project went smooth and easy like I said but I would want to make the circles better and the flower tops did not really turn out looking good. I think this is a realistic art piece and makes it unique to my style because I like flowers and like seeing them all around, I love how the pink background turned out.
