My idea for my magnet was to make a lock and a key to a heart and make the lock have three lines to it and the key having the indents of a key to it. I got this idea because of how I thought it would be cute and I did think of this one bridge that has all these heart locks added to it by people. The process was smooth. First I made a circle and four lines, three being smaller than the other one and then I made the circle for the key and the thick line then attached it all then painted it. This artwork means “Lock to my heart” and I want my audience to think about if they ever fell in love with someone. The key was the hardest to make because I didn’t know how to make it so I just winged it by making a thick line and adding it to the circle and then adding the details. I would change the key and try to make it look like a key more better. It's a surreal art piece because it challenges the idea of "Lock to my heart” saying. What makes it unique to me is that I love hearts and the idea of it.
