Industry Involvement

Industry involvement at CCA has previously consisted of assistance with hands on skill activities and class room presentations. Industry partners typically come in from time to time as needed perform the lesson and leave. Going forward, I would like to see the industry partners build a relationship with the students. This relationship could aid in recruitment of future potential employees.

We have worked to bring  credentials of value to CCA. We have designed a Criminal Justice program pairing college course work with real world state certifications. We are diligently trying to make more employment opportunities available to our students with our partners.

We are in initial talks with the fire department in regard to a firefighter certification. As our county moves forward, we hope to create opportunity for all public safety sector occupations.
