Career Plan and Portfolio

Once aptitudes and interest careers have been identified, the student is assisted in making a career portfolio. The career portfolio consists of You Science results, high school graduation plan and post-secondary plan. Students are then taught about resumes, cover letters and job applications which also become part of the career portfolio. The career portfolio is basically a google site which they have access to at any time during their high school career and afterwards. The Here to Career curriculum also consists of guest speakers, a tour of the CTAE classes, and level 1 of the Georgia Best program.

All CCA Criminal Justice students leave with a portfolio consisting of industry related certificates of training in addition to their career portfolios.
