Skills USA Membership

Catoosa County College and Career Academy policy does not want CCA students competing against Skills USA chapters at their base schools. The Skills USA chapter at CCA only covers Welding, Machine Tool and Transportation since there are no high school pathways in CCPS. CCA Criminal Justice students are encouraged to compete through their base school chapters which have high school Public Safety programs.

CCA Instructors are Skills USA members and are expected to assist the base school chapters in monthly meetings and competition prep. Each year, I have assisted in the Ringgold High School Skills USA. To date Heritage High School has not accepted assistance.
