Consumable material and supplies are replaced at the end of each semester. Projections are based off of the roster for the next class or classes. Funding for consumables is obtained through QBE funds or funds from the CCA Board of Directors.
Equipment procurement or replacement is projected off of available funds. Each year a dream list is maintained for expanding equipment based off of wants, needs and advisory committee input. Items are requisitioned as funds become available. The sources for funding are QBE or funds from the CCA board. Equipment in inventory is replaced on an as needed basis. When equipment is deemed unusable or outdated, it is replaced as funds become available. All classroom technology is replaced by the Catoosa County BOE Technology Department on a rotating basis. Computers are replaced on a three-year cycle. Televisions and projectors are replaced once they become obsolete, damaged, or unusable.
CCA Criminal Justice does not have a policy on student check-out of equipment. No student is allowed to use equipment unsupervised or remove equipment from CCA.
