2. Read the information found on page 195

3. Reread the information but this time I want you to connect it to the events that led up to and during the war.

4. Go to the link provided that says Join

5. Go to Perspectives on the War of 1812. This link is attached in the assignment below

6. Respond to the formative assessment questions. Remember, all responses need to be 

   • CONSTRUCTIVE - Will the reflection help the person move forward or is it simply negative thinking?

   • INSIGHTFUL - Does the reflection probe the issues or simply state the obvious?

   • REALISTIC - Is the reflection grounded in reality or is it pure fantasy?

7. When you have finished reread your answers to ensure they make sense and the sentence structure allows the reader to read it smoothly. Edit your work if necessary.

8. Return to Google Classroom and "turn in" your assignment.
