The deltopectoral or clavipectoral triangle is a narrow space bordered by the following structures:
• Pectoralis major m.
• Deltoid m.
• Clavicle
It contains the cephalic vein and a layer of deep fascia that invests the three structures that make up the borders of the triangle. The subclavian v. and the subclavian a. may also be accessed via this triangle, as they are deep to it.
