I am Ayushman Choudhury, a senior (Class of 2025) studying Applied Mathematics — Computer Science and Music.

In this project, I am working with Professor Seda Şalap-Ayça (Dept. of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences) to redesign assignments in her Advanced GIS course. We are converting them from ArcGIS Pro (closed-source, platform-limited software) to Python (open-source). This serves two goals: (1) make assignments accessible to everyone, with or without specialized software, and (2) teach students programming skills, preparing them for 21st-century careers.
