Faculty Collaborator: Stephanie Gaillard
About:
This past semester, Nuj collaborated with Professor Stephanie Gaillard to develop a specialized tool for learning and understanding French curriculum standards. Their project focused on creating an interactive website designed to help students grasp the different levels and skills outlined in the ACTFL and CEFRL language standards, which are the American and European frameworks, respectively. Both students and faculty benefit from this tool as it elucidates the mastery milestones and facilitates switching between the two frameworks. The website employs a mix of JavaScript for its interactive components, HTML/CSS for structure and styling, and various specialized packages. The final product can be accessed at French Brown Interactive Website.
