Common Dimension Settings to Change
Reference: Modifying Dimension Properties in Creo
File > Prepare > Drawing Properties > Click on Change next to Detail Options
1. text height- controls text height for the whole drawing
2. dim_leader_length- controls length of the dimension lines on user uses external arrows on a dimension (Length between extension line and end of the external arrow line)
3. draw_arrow_length- controls the length of the arrow along the dimension line
4. draw_arrow_width- controls the thickness of the arrow perpendicular to the dimension line
(draw_arrow_length and width should maintain a min. 3:1 ratio)
5. leader_elbow_length- controls the length of the horizontal bar of the leader line dimension
6. witness_line_delta controls the distance of the extension line above the dimension line
7. dim_text_gap: Sets the space on the dimension line for the dimensional value
8. crossec_arrow_length- controls length of the arrow along the elbow of a cutting plane line
9. crossec_arrow_width- controls the thickness of the arrow perpendicular to the cutting plane line
(NOTE: crossec_arrow_length and width should maintain a min. of 3:1 ratio)

Approved Scales
Any scale that is found on a drafting triangular scale is approved
Common Scales
2.000 = 1.000
1.500 = 1.000
FULL or 1.000 = 1.000
.750 = 1.000
.500 = 1.000
.375 = 1.000
.1875 = 1.000
.250 = 1.000
.125 = 1.000
Dimension Sizes for Solid Model
If you see the following sizes at two places past the decimal on your worksheets adjust to three or four places past the decimal on your solid model only
1/16 or .06 or .062 or .063 = .0625
1/8 or .12 or .13 = 0.125
3/16 or .19 or .187 or .188 = .1875
1/4 or .25 = .25
5/16 or .31 or .312 or .313 =.3125
3/8 or .37 or .38 = .375
7/16 or .44 or .437 or .438 = .4375
1/2 or .50 = .50
9/16 or .56 or .562 or .563 = .5625
5/8 or .62 or .63 = 0.625
