FAQs
Is NCFE PE just playing sport and practical sessions all the time?
Not at all. It is mainly written work, based in a classroom . However, we will include practical sessions where possible during the course. These will be focused on health and fitness.
Does doing this course negatively effect my opportunities later on at college/university?
Not at all. This course was designed to give learners an alternative way of learning and gaining a GCSE equivalent grade, so it really does not close any doors later on down the line. We have had excellent results for several years.
Do I get assessed on my practical ability?
No, the course does not assess you practically. It assesses your knowledge about sport / health and fitness and your ability to interpret, analyse, and apply information to different scenarios and questions.
