Elementary Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Funds are federal dollars distributed to school districts to support COVID-19 related costs incurred by school districts. The Bedford School District has an approximate total of $960,000 in ESSER II and ESSER III funding which must be expended by 9/30/2023.
The Bedford School District distributed a survey to the community to collect feedback on the spending plan. Funding typically falls within one of six categories:

PPE and Cleaning Supplies
Educational Technology
Mental/Emotional/Social Supports
