CUBIST STILL-LIFE IN MIXED MEDIA

Venture into the realms of artistic innovation and exploration in this art movement of Cubism, pioneered by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque in the early 20th century. Cubism, characterized by its fragmented forms, geometric shapes, and simultaneous perspectives, revolutionized the way we perceive the world. Inspired by the Cubist masters, our students have embraced the challenge of deconstructing reality and reconstructing it in their own unique interpretations.

In these works, you will witness the dynamic fusion of various mixed media techniques employed by our students to bring their Cubist visions to life. From paper cutouts meticulously arranged to depict fractured forms, to the vibrant strokes of oil pastels adding depth and dimensionality. Each artwork is a unique combination of imagination and technique, capturing the essence of Cubist aesthetics. Through a rich tapestry of colors, shapes, and textures, our students artworks not only pay homage to the groundbreaking legacy of Picasso and Braque but also reflect their own artistic visions, where chaos and order coexist harmoniously, and beauty emerges from fragmentation.
