Safari Animals

This assessment was an excellent way for students to develop their drawing skills and creativity while also exploring the work of renowned wildlife photographer Ami Vitale. In this project, students selected an African animal photographed by Ami Vitale, drew a grid system on their paper, and recreated a drawing of the photograph using colored pencils. The use of a grid system will help students to develop their drawing skills and ensure that their artwork is accurate and proportionate. Using colored pencils, students brought their drawings to life, experimenting with different colors and techniques to create texture, depth, and dimension in their artwork.
