Project 2: One-Point Perspective Drawing

MATERIALS

• Drawing paper (11x14 or larger)

• Ruler or straight edge

• 2H, H pencils (or a mechanical pencil)

• Erasers

INSTRUCTIONS

READ: pg. 17 (Perspective, William F Powell)

• Look up images on line (movie stills, etc.) and walk around your home or neighborhood; look for interior & exterior spaces you can view in 1-point perspective.

• Find/take pictures of 3 exterior & 3 interior spaces (6 pictures total).

• Post them to them to the WIP padlet by 6pm W 3/31: https://austincc.padlet.org/courtneycone/8fk7s7d70fz8efzd

• After class discussion on 3/31, pick one to draw, using 1-point perspective.

• Drawing is due for critique at 6pm, W 4/7; post finished drawing to critique padlet: https://austincc.padlet.org/courtneycone/bdo9922j07fqd7rq
