In this section, we will make a series of quick gesture drawings, building up to a longer drawing that is more involved. Watch this video to see what a gesture drawing should be. Notice that the artist uses both the tip and the side of her drawing tool. She draws quickly and doesn’t erase. She starts with a light touch and then makes her marks darker.
