Step 2: Get ready to be on campus

If you fail to submit evidence of 2 MMR immunizations or a blood test showing immunity to Rubella, your enrollment may be restricted after your first semester.

Step 3: Register for classes
Navigate to your program page, MA Educational Policy, and to the Required Courses section. Find your course sequence according to your start semester.
Add the current semester classes listed on your course sequence at My ASU > My Classes box > Registration > Add/Shopping Cart. Input the five-digit class registration numbers from your course sequence and continue through the steps to add the classes to your schedule.
You will see Session A and Session B classes on your schedule; less often a Session C class. Learn more about the Session dates on the academic calendar.
View payment deadlines at https://students.asu.edu/tuitiondeadlines.
For financial aid, please fill out the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov and follow the steps under the Finances tab of your MyASU.
After you register, as it gets closer to the start of the term you can find your required books by going to My ASU > My Classes box > Books.
IMPORTANT: Some books may be shown as "provided at a negotiated rate and auto-delivered to you prior to class start." Please do not purchase these books without first reviewing text information in the course syllabus - available a few days before the class begins.
Charges for these auto-delivered books will show up on your account after the drop/add deadline.
